FAQ
Who is it for?
Kinesiology can help anyone - from babies to the elderly. It’s a gentle, holistic treatment that complements both conventional and alternative therapies.
How long does it usually take to work?
It depends on the severity and duration of the issue. You might notice improvements after the first visit, with significant changes typically occurring after 3 to 4 consultations, depending on your specific concerns. The longer the issue has been present, the longer it may take to resolve.
How long is a treatment?
The initial consultation is recommended to be 90 minutes, while subsequent sessions can be either 60 or 90 minutes.
How often is it recommended to have a session?
It’s generally recommended to have a session once a month, with at least 3 weeks between treatments to allow for changes to take effect. In cases of severe pain or other urgent concerns, more frequent sessions may be advised.
What to bring and what to wear?
What to bring: Just bring yourself! It may be a good idea to take with you any medical records, nutritional supplements, or items you believe are relevant to your health. If you’d like specific foods or drinks to be tested, please bring a small sample.
What to wear: Choose comfortable clothing - preferably not jeans and ideally not a dress or skirt. Leggings or soft trousers are ideal. Sessions are fully clothed, on a massage bed, however there may be occasions when some skin contact is required.
